Mixed Cart Protection
When customers mix preorder and in-stock items in one cart, their entire order may be delayed. Mixed Cart Protection warns them before checkout.
How it works
- Customer adds a preorder item AND a regular item to their cart
- Customer clicks Checkout
- ✅ Presold shows a popup warning
- Customer can Continue to checkout or go back to modify their cart
Customizing the popup

Enabling / Disabling
Mixed Cart Protection is enabled by default on paid plans. To disable:
- Go to Preorder settings
- Uncheck Enable mixed cart warnings
- Save
