Setting Up BIS Notifications
Automatically email customers when a sold-out product is restocked.
Enable BIS
- Go to Back in Stock in the Presold sidebar
- Toggle Enable Back-in-Stock notifications to ON
- Click Save
How the full flow works
Customer side
- Customer visits a product page where all variants are sold out
- ✅ A "Notify me when available" button appears
- Customer clicks it → popup form appears
- Customer enters their email → clicks "Subscribe"
- ✅ Success message: "We'll email you when this product is back!"
Your side (automatic)
- You restock the product in Shopify (add inventory)
- ✅ Shopify sends an inventory webhook to Presold
- ✅ Presold finds all subscribers for that product
- ✅ Notification emails are sent automatically
- ✅ Each subscriber is marked as "notified"
💡 Tip: You don't need to do anything manually — restocking triggers everything automatically.
